Free Christmas background images

To celebrate the biggest shopping day of the year, here are some images you could use in the next few weeks as backgrounds for your presentations. They come from SXC.hu, a free stock image place. I tried to make it easy for you so you wouldn’t have to go “shopping” for them yourself. All of these images are free to use with no usage restrictions. If you click the image, it will open in a new window at actual size.

Like everyone else who is leaving these messages, I really like your backgrounds, but I would like to comment on you expressing to others to use Firefox rather than IE. I’m surprised that you said IE would not display your site correctly. The fact of the matter is that IE will display most everything correctly, but Firefox will not, which is why there are not as many holes in it. An analogy would be a person bragging that they will not have any problems with the air conditioning on their new car, because it does not have an air conditioner. Firefox will NOT do as much, therefore has less to go wrong. I have embedded videos on my site and the people who try and watch them with Firefox can not see them. And BTW, most everything is susceptible to viruses and spyware which is why everyone should use Antivirus and Antispyware software no matter what browser they are using.

Dear Dennis…I say that Firefox will work better because it allows for streaming of Quicktime videos. In Internet Explorer, you have to wait until the whole video is downloaded in order to view it. I’m not really wanting to debate it here. I just know that the site works with Firefox because I use it. For most people, a browser is a browser.
