So, I’ve been busy and have had to neglect this site for a while. I am hoping to get back into the swing of things this week. Sorry about that. I’ve had a missions team here ministering with us this past week. In fact, you should check out their website. They did a great job of ministering, and they have a unique way of doing youth ministry, so check them out.
What characteristics do you look for in your volunteer youth workers? Here are a few suggestions, but what else do you want in them?
- Evidence of Spiritual growth
- Desire to work with youth
- Able to relate to youth
- Teachable
- Positive example
- Sensitive to youth culture
- Patience
