What characteristics do you look for in your volunteer youth workers? Here are a few suggestions, but what else do you want in them?
- Evidence of Spiritual growth
- Desire to work with youth
- Able to relate to youth
- Teachable
- Positive example
- Sensitive to youth culture
- Patience
What else?
I think those are all good. I used to think those are enough. Lately, though I’m not quite sure.
Instead, maybe it has to do with:
- a high level of commitment
- being a “person that MUST”
