Connecting Young People

I’m getting ready to share with a group of young people from all over Mexico about the need for a youth ministry to connect young people to other young people. I’d love to hear some ideas that you all use in your groups out there. I know that young people are experts at connecting with each other, but we (the church) also need to provide opportunities for them to share with each other about their lives, struggles, successes, etc. How should we go about doing that?

Easter Countdown

Easter is about to sneak up on us. Maybe you’re thinking about putting together some stuff for Easter. Slowly, we’re going to be putting online some Easter resources. The first one is a 3 minute Easter Cowntown Video. You can use it in your ministry for free. Since it’s my first attempt at making a cowntdown video, it’s nothing special. It’s in Windows Media format, so you can put it in a powerpoint presentation without any problems. If you use it, let me know.

Jack Bauer’s Ministry Lessons

Check out these ministry lessons learned from Jack Bauer and the TV show “24″ as seen on The Jester’s Pub (via: Marko)

Oh, and since it’s a 24 theme, this other site is pretty cool for Jack Bauer fans, too.
