Some Kids Wish…

Someone sent me this video today, which comes at an incredible time as I am preparing for a course on Ministry to Troubled Youth.

Squidoo Group on Youth Ministry

Nick just created a Squidoo Group about Christian Youth Ministry. It has a few pretty good lenses on it so far, so go check it out. Not sure what a Squidoo lens is? Here’s a description from the site:

It’s an easy-to-build, single web page that can point to blogs, favorite links, RSS feeds, Flickr photos, Google maps, eBay auctions, CafePress designs, Amazon books or music, and more. Then, when someone is looking for recommended information, fast, your lens gets him started and sends him off in the right direction. It’s a place for searchers to start, not finish.

So, go make a lens and add it to the group.

Issues in Youth Ministry

Over at Life in Student Ministry, they’ve been having a series called, “Issues in Youth Ministry: What needs to Change.” Many interesting perspectives have been discussed, especially the following three questions: What are some issues youth ministry is struggling with today? What are some issues to which youth ministry is responding effectively? and, In what ways does youth ministry need to change? Be sure to check it out.
