Shane, over at
Nailscars.com, has posted a great “
Christmas Station Worship Experience” on his site. It’s really cool, and it includes sections for world prayer, baby Jesus, ornament making, make your own Christmas carol, praise for Jesus, and Christmas thanks. Make sure to check it out and tell him what you think about it.
He was kind enough to release it under a Creative Commons License.

Sorry for the duplicate post (for those that read this blog and my family’s blog. Here’s a rough translation of the content I’m looking for in the “Final Project” for my Discipleship in Youth Ministry Class that I thought would be helpful here:
- Your definition of discipleship and an explanation of that definition.
- In general terms, what is it that you want to achieve in the lives of the young people in your discipleship program?
- What specific objectives are there for the young people? Remember that there are levels of discipleship. Which objectives are there for each level (new Christian, Christian, etc)? Put these objectives in order of importance. What things are necessary for which level?
- What role do small groups play in your ideal program?
- What will an ideal small group look like?

Looking for a reason to get an ipod this holiday season? Well, here are five ways you could use it in your ministry.
- Music: Make a themed playlist. Hook into the sound system and crank it up as students enter the room.
- Pictures: Put your favorite pictures of your youth group (or last week’s meeting, etc) in a folder, sync it to your iPod, pick out the music you want to play (in slideshow mode), and let it go.
- Presentations: Run powerpoint off of it. You can convert Powerpoint files into photos, make them a slideshow on your iPod, hook it into the projector, and bang, you’ve got a powerpoint.
- Memory: You can enable your iPod to be used as a flash drive. Then, you’ve got 30 or 80 gigs of memory waiting to be used.
- Video: You can download, convert, and play videos from Youtube or other video sharing sites, or you can rip video clips to be used in your presentations. You can also make your own videos and play them off of your iPod.
