Mission Trip Presentations

So you’re back from your Spring Break mission trip, and you have hundreds of photos to show next week. What are you going to do with them? Will you make a presentation? Will you show it to your church? Will you put it up on your ministry’s website? I came across this great guide to memorable travel slideshows. It is written for general travel slide shows, but you could use it in your ministry, too.

Basically, the best tips are: Tell a story, think of your audience, and keep it short (or leave them wanting more). Most of the time, the presentations are more for those who went on the trip than for anyone else anyway. Check out the article and tell me what other tips you have.

it is so touchy isn’t it? it’s so easy to have a boring presentation and so difficult to have a great one…

Yeah, Tony. It’s really hard to tell the story of all you experienced in a week with a presentation of 30 minutes. I think I’ll be facing that this summer when we’re home speaking in churches.
