Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

text.jpgA thirteen year old girl text messaged that word (34 letters) in 15 seconds, and she won $25,000 for doing it. (see story here.) She says she sends more than 8000 text messages each month.

What does this tell us about today’s generation? It tells me a lot. It tells us a lot about communication, one of the most important parts of any kind of ministry, but especially youth ministry. We need to be in communication with our students. Text messaging is a great way to do it.

Video on the Web

If you’ve already read the ebook, Generation Youtube, and you’re all ready to put up video on the web, you should check out this article about how to prep and post your video to the web. The article talks about this question, “Which of the many video sharing sites should you use?” It also says that, “The answer really depends on your goals for the video.”

It’s a good read and useful for anyone who wants to put video on the web.
