I put together a feed for Youth Culture that is available on the Youth Culture page of this website. It includes a bunch of youth culture sites, and it will update on its own. Be sure to check it out and subscribe to the feed. Then you will get youth culture headlines in your aggregator.
The majority of the stories on the feed come from various culture blogs and other websites with RSS feeds (like MTV.com). If, for some reason, it doesn’t load the first time, click reload and the stories should show up.
Do you want to see this site the way it was made to be seen? Want to view the videos quickly? Want things to download and move faster than a Baptist at a potluck after they say amen (It’s okay, I work at a Baptist seminary)? Then get these tools:
- Firefox web browser: This web browser replaces Internet Explorer. All the cool Internet geeks are using it (It’s okay, I’m an internet geek).
- Latest version of Quicktime: Apple is taking over the world (I don’t have a Mac.).
If you really want to be cool, check out some “news aggregators” like FireAnt, MeFeedia, or iTunes. That way, you can subscribe to the RSS feed, the content of the site will be automatically downloaded, and there will be no waiting to watch the videos here. You could even put the videos on your brand spanking new video iPod that your gonna ask Santa for this year.
By the way, there is still time to be the first person to comment on the site! Just click the little comment section below and tell me what you think.

YouthMinistryTV.com is a videoblog, or “video podcast” (what’s a videoblog?) for youth workers around the world. It will focus on resources, news, and media you can use in your youth ministry. Hopefully, it will become a place for youth workers to show what they are doing in their ministries and talk shop with the youth ministry world. We will be reviewing resources, talking about youth ministry happenings, sharing media for use in ministry, and getting to know each other better. Be sure to leave a comment.
If you make media for use in your ministry, I would love to showcase it here on YouthMinistryTV.com. So, if you have a motion background, a video countdown, or something else that you made and used for your students, send me a comment or email. I’d love to see it.
This site will soon be up with lots of great content for youth workers. The first episode is scheduled to air tomorrow, November 11, 2005.
